Happy Birthday Ty!

Happy Birthday Ty! I will post pics later, but we went to Houston this weekend and had a birthday bash for him Saturday night. My camera wasn't working, so I used my sister's camera. When she emails them to me, I will upload them.

I wanted to tell Ty he is the best and I love him so much. I have to brag about him and tell everyone how wonderful he is. I have learned so much from him and I couldn't ask for anyone better. I hope he has the best birthday and a great year to come!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. Even though we pretty much celebrated on Saturday, we went to Saltgrass for dinner tonight. Here are some of my favorite pics of us 2 years ago today....

Happy Birthday G to the Randma!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma! Love you to pieces. I wish I could be with my mom and be there to celebrate with you guys! I was going through a scrapbook my mom made me when I turned 12 and found a letter my mom had written to me to read on my 12th birthday. The letter stated that I was pretty much her favorite daughter (not really).. it did talk about though how when she brought me home from the hospital my Grandma Stevens bathed me and dressed me and helped take care of me. I have to admit it brought a few tears to my eyes (a lot actually). I am so glad for you and grateful you are my grandma and I am pretty sure you are crying reading this at this point but I love you tons! It stinks that family has to live so far from each other sometimes and move to places like Dallas, but I am so glad we all love each other enough to write, call, and care for one another. Thank you Grandma for teaching my mom so well...

Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we got together with some friends from the ward and carved pumpkins. It was so much fun and I got full off of hot chocolate. (I think I'm going to be sick now). Ty and I have made great friends in the ward and really enjoy our ward and have had a blast getting to know people!

Everyone did a great job, but Jodi's pumpkin I think won. I couldn't get a picture of it....it took off before I could snap a picture of it.

I'm so excited for Halloween!

Our Weekend Adventures

Our anniversary is tomorrow (the 28th), but we celebrated on Saturday since Ty has school tomorrow.

I really wanted to just spend the day with him, I didn't care what we did. The first thing we did was go to Ikea, we were in search for shelves and a desk.

After that we had couples' massage. It was so fun. Ty had booked it and it was kind of a surprise to me. The massages last an hour and I think I was passed out after the first 5 minutes. It felt so good and it was so relaxing!

Then, we went to PF Changs and enjoyed a nice dinner together.

We got home and put together the desk and shelves we bought. I'm a dork and didn't take a picture of us together on Saturday, but here's a picture of the desk and shelves at least.... I don't like the black chair with the desk, but it works for now.

I love Fall Air and Fall Clothes

I am loving the cooler weather and I finally got to bust out a fall shirt today. It's only in the 60's (all of you in Utah and Idaho, go ahead and laugh)..but we can finally start wearing long sleeves! I am enjoying it.

Now if November could hurry up and get here... I want to put my Christmas tree up already and I want to beat my sister Stephanie this year in putting it up. ;-)

Lunch Break!

I had to take a break from work super fast and give a shout out to Tyler. He is awesome and sometimes I don't think I deserve him (eventhough he tells me I do).

I always love getting visits from him at work. He stopped by my work today around 11. He knew I was going to be working through lunch because I need to leave early today.. when I work through lunch, I normally don't eat. Anyways, he showed up with a salad, fountain diet coke, and m&ms.

I love him to pieces! He is a great!

Retail Therapy

Let's just say I was having a really bad day yesterday. I am normally pretty good about shopping and I haven't spent much money on myself lately, since we have done so much to the house.

Well, Tyler came home from work yesterday and told me he had a surprise for me and it was cash to go to the mall!!! So we went yesterday afternoon and walked around a bit and this is what I came up with....

Spending money and shopping doesn't solve all of your really bad days....but it does help a little bit, right?





Now I just need some cute fall shoes....

Latest & Greatest...Well, Maybe not The Greatest

I decorated our guest bedroom finally and did it in blue and brown. I love those colors together. I got the pillows on sale at Peir 1 and then picked out brown poka-dot fabric for the bulletin board on the wall and then made a pillow out of the left over fabric for one extra pillow on the bed (Ty hates pillows on beds for decoration, but they add so much character). I am pleased with out it turned out. Tyler took an Armoire that we have had sitting in the garage and put it in the room and then built a shelf. You can't see that stuff in the picture, but it looks like a room finally.

Bring on Another One!!

I got another calling at church. A couple of months ago I was called to teach Relief Society the second Sunday of the month. I have been doing that and I think I am getting the hang of it.

Well, I got another calling and it's the Activity Day Leader. It will be a lot of fun. Tonight was my first night going. It's funny because the age the girls are at, they think any one older and young (if that makes sense) is so cool. I got compliments on my shorts and my hair tonight. It will keep me busy, but it's only every other week and I will enjoy it.
